CLIENT: something for the aunties
SERVICE(S): editorial photography, lifestyle photography, art direction
about: Something for the Aunties is a lifestyle streetwear brand out of Inglewood, CA, created to celebrate the most iconic role in the family: the Auntie—the cool one, the real one, the “pull up and fix your life” one. Founded by Heather Marshall (Heather Marie), the brand taps into that “jiggy auntie” energy with tomboy-chic pieces built for women who live at the intersection of style, sneakers, and culture.
What started with standout “Auntie” tees and sweatshirts—popular in the Black women’s streetwear and sneaker community—grew into a bigger message: confidence, community, and looking fly without trying to be anybody else.
